Our partner company,  Violet Vintage Rentals is where it all started for us, though VV Events is technically a separate business.  Violet Vintage Rentals was founded in 2012 and is located directly next door to the event space in Indianapolis, Indiana.  While our venue space comes with solid wood farm tables and chic industrial chairs, if you are interested in renting additional items or have purchased an upgraded package, our event professionals and stylists with Violet Vintage Rentals are here to help you bring your vision to life!  From our colorful mismatched goblets or our unique backdrops to lounge seating and decor, we are your one stop shop to make the stress of hosting an event easier! The extra bonus?  There are no delivery fees on our rentals when you use our event and wedding venue! Both VV Events and Violet Vintage Rentals are independently owned and are proud to be a small local business in Indianapolis.

Nope, though we do think we’ve got some great items that are worth checking out! And did we mention that there are no delivery fees on our rentals when you use our event space or wedding venue?  That said, we believe in community over competition – you are welcome to use any vendors of your choosing.

Absolutely, you can!  We allow flexibility for all tastes, styles, and budgets.  (Caterers and bartenders DO need to be licensed.)  If you need help choosing a vendor, we have a list of vendors in the central Indianapolis area that we’ve worked with in the past and would be happy to make some recommendations!

Pricing for a Friday or Saturday varies depending on peak season (April 1 – October 31) vs non-peak season (November 1 – March 31).  This includes the whole venue for 14 hours.  Hourly rates apply for Sunday – Thursday.  All venue rentals include up to 20 tables and 200 chairs.    Parking is on-site and free.  A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

We sure do! We know that budgets are different and the venue is just one piece of your wedding or event.  We have a range of affordable options as well as discounts on event rentals from our partner company, Violet Vintage Rentals.  Check out our brochure for our variety of options.

We can comfortably host up to 250 people.  We have parking for 150-200 vehicles.

Our venue is an indoor space with an abundance of natural light.  Across the street is a small park with wild flowers – great for photos!

The venue, tables, chairs, client suites, and parking are all included in our basic package because we know that different people have different budgets.  You can upgrade your package to include lounges, upscale chairs, and coordination support.  If you want a bar package, security, additional rentals, or additional planning, that will be an additional cost.

We have a variety of bar packages available as add-on items to allow for choice and flexibility.  Did you know you can bring your own alcohol and have our bartenders serve it?  If you only wanted to pay for what your guests drink, we have a unique “consumption” package. Or if you would rather know your full pricing up front and don’t want to bother with the details, check out our full open bar options.

We will set up the tables and chairs based on the pre-agreed floor plan.  If you also have lounges, backdrops, or upgraded chairs, we will also set that up.  You and your vendors handle the rest of the set up.  If you want to “flip the room” from ceremony seating to reception seating, that would be an additional charge.  You and your vendors clean up your stuff, we’ll clean up our stuff.  You remove everything brought into the venue (personal or event items).  We will clean up our space (sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, etc) after the event. 

Deposits are non-refundable. Security deposit will be refunded within 14 days minus any charges for excessive cleanup or damages.  Venue pricing does not include security or bar rates.   Credit card fees will be paid by the client. Rates vary for peak vs non-peak season. All music and musical performances must end by 10.45pm. Client must have special event liability insurance. If you upgrade to a package, rental items from Violet Vintage Rentals will be included in the price, but will be handled by Violet Vintage Rentals and on a separate contract.
